Not sure what to say?

He was my Grandpa and I really miss him. He died when I was 3, he always gave me great hugs. He Was the best Grandpa I could ever have.RIP

I'm sorry to see or even hear that someone I served with in Vietnam passed away. Larry and I served together with the 9th Infantry Division in the Mekong Delta. My wife and I visited Connie & Larry some years ago and would never would have thought I'd see his passing online. May he rest in peace!

cant believe a year has passed already as I am sure it is the same with the family. I found a training packet Larry had made up years ago the other day. molding 101 basically. funny to find that right around the year mark. he was a great man and awesome teacher. so patient with people so very missed.

I'm sorry to hear of this loss, my condolences to the family. Cheryl Singleton Thompson

My deepest sympathy to the Essenburg family, on the passing of Larry. Though I had not seen him since Vietnam, I never forgot him. We both served in 1st Platoon, Co D 6/31st INF, 9th Inf Div. Robert Hill

I just came across Larry's obituary after doing a search of him & Connie in Holland. I knew and served with Larry in the 9th Division in Vietnam while operating in the Mekong Delta. My wife and I visited Connie & Larry some years ago in Holland while traveling here in MI. My condolences to Connie & her family. Another Veteran has passed!

Connie we are so sorry to hear about Larry. We remember you inviting us over for supper after bumping into you in the store. We had some great tasting salmon on the grill. Please tell your Melissa "hi" from our Melissa. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Blessings, Tom and Elaine Praamsma.

Prayers for the Essenburg family- God's strength be with you! We celebrate his example to our community!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Essenburg family. Larry was like my second father and I'm really gonna miss him. It's an honor for me to work for the Essenburgs for 16 years and still counting. I will always have great and funny memories of Larry. Those I will never lose. Thank you Larry for everything. I learned a lot of valuable things from you. I'll always remember when you would come into the quality office and pretend you wanted to talk to me but really you only wanted a handful of...
