I am so sorry to hear about your dad! He was an awesome man and I know he will be missed. I keep thinking of Hebrews 13:5. It is my favorite bible verse and it may help. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened and shocked to hear about the loss of a such an influential man. I haven't talked with Larry or Julie in nearly 30 years - but they both made an impression on me. I read the entries and see I'm not the only one. I also learned quite a bit about his life. Eternal Rest Grant unto him Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in Peace, Amen.

I am so very sorry you lost your dad at such a young age. It really does not seem fair. I know you loved him and miss him a lot.
Would like to share what I have learned about grief. At first, the grief seems to occupy our entire hearts. However, as we add days to the event, other experiences come in and the sadness takes up less space in our hearts.
The grief never goes away. It comes to occupy less space, and other, more joyful experiences enter...

Mr. Feldhacker was a class act from the start. I had him in study hall and he was always fun. Very smart, and willing to share his ideas.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Feldhacker family at this very sad time. We enjoyed the tributes to such a fine teacher his legacy as a teacher has lasting values. We only met Larry and his family at his daughter Jenny's Wedding last July26
to our grandson Christopher Collins.

I worked with Larry at Catholic Mutual and he was such and interesting man. I liked him very much. My prayers go out to the family.

Mr. Feldhacker was my high school teacher and he was someone who you didn't dare mess around in his class but you loved him so much you really didn't want to. He commanded respect as an elder and that is what is missing today in our society. I have not seen or talked to you since 1979 but I am very sad to he you have passed I have alot of fond memories I will keep in my mind.
