Not sure what to say?

Larry was my Sunday school teacher, very loving man, our family loved watching him pitch baseball

That smile. Always more out from Larry´s eyes. It felt that Larry was both getting a kick out of what was funny and revealing gratitude and affection for the one offering the humor. During this season when overly abundant good cheer can feel more an assault, may you never abandon all the little "good cheers" that Larry would never want you to miss out on or overlook. Love you all whole heartedly.

I love you and will forever miss you so much. I can't believe it's been 8 months. Time goes too quickly. I always listen to your favorite song over and over. I love you so much.

I miss you and will always love you Grandpa. I loved hearing your fun stories and seeing your sparkling smile.

I miss you so much uncle Larry

Our deepest condolences to the entire Foster family. Disability Network West Michigan Board and staff

Ginny, Larry was a light for all of us who knew him. Always with a warm greeting and genuine smile. We grieve for you, Tommy and Mitchell. Your family glowed with art, music and faith. We are sad now and further saddened not to be able to be with you at his funeral. Peace, Mike and Marian

I don't know Larry, but both us played in the major leagues. That i and of itself is impressive, but what Lismore impressive is his other gifts that he gave to others. This shows that whether we like or not,God closes a door and then opens another if "WE" choose t use the g.ifts God gives us. The impact of both careers are varied but I know that thru his education counseling and even service in our church Larry had a major league career in life. May the peace that passeth all understand be...

I wish I could have been at this service. We are watching from home. It's raining, so the game would be called, and Larry would have to fire his curve ball another day, something he so gently, quietly did always when counseling or in conversation. These were curve balls that led to realization and richness in one's life. Would that today's service could be rained out. In the days ahead that will ambush you with grief whenever you remember or be reminded or hear a song or see his whatever,...
