Mr Getts was a great girls basketball coach. We had so much fun. I think he had way more confidence in us than we did. I am from class of 76 also and a part of his girls team too. I treasure the memories of those days. My thoughts go out to a family that had lost a dad, husband and grandfather. I hope your memories help you now also. No words help the heartache. He was a nice man and will be missed. May he be happy in the lords arms!

Mr. Getts was my basketball coach and teacher at Centerville. I will always be grateful for his guidance and compassion. He was a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so happy that we were able to stop in Spokane on April 10th and visit with Larry. We really enjoyed remembering old times and memories of our growing up years, time spent at the Grandparents ranch together, and many fun events that we were involved in. We know that Larry is in a better place now and that Heaven is there waiting for all of us. Knowing that he will be missed by family and friends and all the people whose lives he has had an impact on, we offer our condolences. ...

I was saddened to hear about Mr. Getts passing. He was one of my favorite teachers at Centerville. He was a great teacher, coach, motivator and person. He always taught with great respect. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
