I met Dr. Gibbs in the 1980s at Bessemer Carraway doing clinical rotations while I was in emergency medical technician school. He taught me what it truly meant to be a professional and how to treat every patient with respect and care. I was blessed to have worked with Dr. GIBBS at Bessemer Carraway all of the years he was there. He was an excellent physician, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his family became some of my most treasured friends. A most kind, compassionate and caring physician not only to his patients but he cared deeply for the welfare of our ER staff as well. My prayers for strength, comfort and peace for his family. I love them so very much.
