Not sure what to say?

Mark,
Your dad was a devoted friend to me and my son, Jeremy. I worked with him at ATI but corresponded with him for the last eight years (after I left ATI). He sent me books and little gifts over the years and Marine memorabilia to Jeremy (who aspires to be in the Corps). He always began his letters with, "My cherished friend," and I know that I was. He was my cherished friend as well. I can't tell you how much I'll miss his good nature and loving kindness to me and my family. I know that...

I met Mr. Larry Gilbert in 2001 when I first started at ATI, and I remember the first time I met him. He was always smiling and happy. I NEVER saw him sad or mad. I will miss him very much. My prayers go out to his family.

I had the privilege of working with Larry at ATI for 16 years. He was
always smiling and he always had something sweet to say about someone. He never complained about
his aches and pains. Larry has brought a lot of joy into my life and others too. I am greatful to the Good Lord that He let me know Larry. I will miss him a lot.

Mark,
Your dad meant so much to the Hutchison family and to me especially because he was my Confirmation sponsor. He was a great example of Christian love and was always so proud of you and Craig. I'll miss his wisdom and his smiling face. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

As part of the Iwo Jima Survivors Association of Texas, I can confidently say how much Larry will be missed by all who knew him. We were his serrogate family and better known to my children as "Grandpa Larry". What a better place this was with Larry in it. He is new again and well in Heaven. Words cannot begin to express how much Larry will be missed, but we have the assurance we will see him again...and in Larry's words, "God Bless and Semper Fi".

To the Family of Larry Gilbert: I had the great privilege of meeting and working with Larry Gilbert and assisting the board on the Region VI Private Career Schools in partnership with the U.S. Dept of Education. Dallas, TX. Larry was a valuable member of the team. Larry was an inspiration to me and I will miss him dearly. I am thankful to the Lord for his genuine and kind friendship and for allowing us to cross paths. May God 's blessings be with you.

Dear Mark and family...

For many years, Larry has been my other "dad" and I will miss his loving words and big hugs greatly. He always made me feel cherished and accepted, no matter what! My heart and prayers are with you at this time. Much love, Charlotte
