Larry Haas

I first met Larry back in 2000. He recently retired from Boeing and started working closer to home on a new project for the USAF. We worked after hours a lot. I learned a lot from him and loved listening to his stories about McDonnell Douglass. He taught me a lot about how to be an engineer, a critical thinker and a good, solid worker; more importantly, he was a good friend and a great mentor. My sincerest sympathy to the family of Larry Haas regarding his passing, from a grade school mate. Larry was always so smart in grade school. I already knew then that he was destined for great things and I see that I was right. May he rest in peace.

Larry was an exceptional engineer and a dear friend. He was the first to advise me when I started at MDC. He partnered with me on several major programs. We accomplished great things together. I have always cherished our friendship and will remember him fondly.
