A Soldier in God’s Army has been called from labor to reward.


Larry Darnell Hannah of Pontiac, Michigan, a United States Army Veteran passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026.  A husband, father, son, uncle and friend has departed this earthly life to be with the Lord in heavenly peace.


Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his Wife, Valentina Hannah, Son, Tyriq Hannah, Bonus daughter and granddaughter, Quanetra Standfield and Calimae Cain.


His parents Larry and Bettie Hannah. Siblings: Charmaine (Nate) Manciel, Marcus Applewhite and Jermaine (Charlotte) Hannah.


Larry was a true definition of a gentle giant. He will be missed dearly and he will always have a ‘special’ place in our heart.


Larry will lie in repose on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm- 6:00pm.


Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church 250 Fisher St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Pastor Rodney Tolbert, officiating, family  hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will promptly start at 10:30am.  Internment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michiganq, immediately after the service.
