Not sure what to say?

Went to order my fruit and couldn't find Harvey's Groves. I than read sad news of Larry's passing. He was 1st boss I had and it was in the recreation dept at WDW. He was a very nice boss. He taught and encouraged me in many ways. It was in a male dominated dept but he went out of way to encourage me to move up. I visited him several years before his death and he hadn't changed much. The fruit was the best!

Jim, Bryan and myself thank you all for sharing. We will hold the memories closely and visit this page often to check up.

I too remember those pictures of Larry and Sharry. I am sorry we never met he sounds like a person I should have known.

Dear Mary Lu, Jim, Sharon, Chris and Bryan,

Sorry this is so late. I just found out today of Larry's passing. I was checking to see how the hurricane had affected the groves and saw his obit. I wish we would have kept in touch over the years. The distance between Ohio and Florida just seemed to great. Last time I spoke to Larry was back in 2004 when my mom Dorothy Shirer, his great aunt died. I will be sure to let the rest of the Shirer Clan and the Cleveland Harveys know as well....

Dear Chris, Bryan, Mary Lu, Jim and Sharon, and the many friends of Larry;
We are saddened to learn of Larry's death. Larry and his family are true Florida Crackers and have contributed greatly to Rockledge and Brevard County. He was also a great friend, always dropping off a few lobsters for us, and not to forget, giving us our chocolate Lab Clifford, perhaps a gesture my wife would like to forget. Larry fought long and hard in his battle with lymphoma - a race well run for a good and...

Thinking of Larry while enjoying the outdoors.

I knew Larry for most of my life. We grew up together in the Rockledge Presbytian Church. His Dad was a buddy of my Dad and his Mom was a true lady and a friend of my Mom.
Larry and I graduated in the same class and spent alot of time on the swim team bus. He was a great freestyler!
I haven't seen Larry much in the last 10 + years but I always kept up with what he was doing. I know he was proud of his sons and was pleased to find happiness with Mary Lou. I know he was a...
