Larry Alton Hawkins Larry Alton Hawkins, age 58, of Woodbridge, Virginia, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in his new home in heaven on May 10, 2010.

Larry was an amazingly perfect husband, a wonderful and loving father, a proud doting Pop Pop of four and a die hard Redskins fan. He routed for two NFL teams, Washington Redskins and whoever was playing Dallas. Larry loved his career in residential construction and enjoyed his yearly vacations with his family to Ocean City, Md. Though Larry left us too soon he left an everlasting imprint on many hearts.

He is survived by his devoted wife Betty Hawkins; two of the luckiest daughters, Nichole Hawkins and Michele Hawkins-Manley and husband, Tim Manley, four spoiled grandbabies, Troy Michael, Alyssa, Alexandra and Luke; his mother, Lillian Hawkins; sister, Henrietta Garrison and husband, Dennis Garrison and his niece, Dee Bragg and husband, Clarence Bragg and two children Stacey and Mason.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 15, 2010 for 3 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, where a memorial service will begin at 4 p.m.

In honor of Larry's life and love for his favorite football team, family is requesting friends and family to wear Redskins apparel or burgundy and gold. To offer the family condolences please visit millerfuneralhome.net
