I just heard the news and am so sorry for your loss. Larry was one of the most optimistic people I have ever met. He always had a smile on his face and put a smile on everyone elses face! I feel honored to have known him. He was thoughtful and wise and a true family man. He will be missed greatly.

Mr. Haynes was my fifth grade teacher at Holyoke. He was my favorite teacher that I ever had. I remember one instance in the autumn of the year we had Indian corn for decorations. One of the students kept picking the kernels off and throwing them at other students during class. Then, I remember seeing Mr. Haynes get two ears of corn; and while he was teaching us, he was shelling all the grain off those ears. He piled it on his desk.
