Mr. Haynie...former teacher and colleague of mine...I was thinking of you and Mrs. Haynie on a recent trip to the area. I reminisced about field trip where you chaperoned and drove us to a theatre event and we asked you to go a little faster by encouraging you to "put the pedal to the metal." My condolences and to the family. I was a former WRSUD colleague, and Larry mentored me when I took over the GT program in FT. Defiance Elemetary School, before the name changed Tsehootsi Intermediate and Primary. I always appreciated his advise to teach using Shared Inquiry with Junior Great Books. Rest in Peace.
