Not sure what to say?

I met Larry at Dave Knapps recently while we were waiting for our cars to be fixed. We chatted for almost 30 minutes. He was such a friendly and caring man. He mostly talked about his daughters, and the love he felt for them was transparent. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I had the honor of serving with him for five years. He was one of the most kind and helpful people I've ever met. The Ansonia community has lost a great man. My deepest sympathy goes out to Judy, Amanda & Shelly.

Judy & Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathies. Although we did not know Chief Hoffman well, we knew Judy from our days at AHS and have always had a warm place in our hearts for her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Judy,
Sorry for your loss, your family are in our prayers. Larry was one of the BEST. We will never foget him.

Larry will be greatly missed. My daughter who is in kindergarten looked forward to waving at Larry every morning before school. Prayers go out to Judy, Amanda, Shelly, and the rest of the Hoffman Family

Larry was the best officer I have ever known around. He will be missed by all. I want to send your family my deepest condolences.

Dear Judy, Shelly, and Amanda,
Larry was a wonderfully kind and compassionate man and police officer that my family was blessed to have known for the past 10 years. His smile and and "hello waves" will be something I will always miss, but as I look into the sky and feel a comforting breeze blow the clouds that the Lord has made; I will know this angel will be waving to all of us once again! May God Bless you and comfort you in this difficult time.

Hannah Dynes and Family

Judy, we are so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult and hard to understand time.

Larry was always friendly and had nothing but kind and encouraging words to say as he passed by my desk for our monthly Intel meetings. He will be greatly missed.

May God bless you and keep you and your family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
