Jehlik, Larry age 71, of Shorewood, formerly of Chicago, IL, retired from the J.C. Penny Company. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Angie; son, Greg (Kim); daughter, Kim Jehlik-Pauly and husband Al Pauly; grandchildren, Jeff, April, Angela, Nick, Jacob, and Ma Tia; nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 PM, at the Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Rd. (1 blk N. of Hwy 5), Eden Prairie. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 12:00 noon, with visitation 1 hour before at St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the A-T Children's Project, 688 S. Military Trail, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 or www.atcp.org. I was sorry to hear of Larry passing. He was wonderful man,husband,brother,and friend. I wish I could be their Angie like you two where also came when someone of us where in need or ill.

He was one of my first bosses in my 'grown-up' life. Larry was one of the first leaders to teach me about the importance of humor in our work life. I still remember so many of his... well, shall we say, articulate expressions.

The green grass & perfectly manicured lawn of Highland Lane is always etched in my mind. Working side by side with you on Saturdays and swapping yard stories kept me going. You and Angie were my family for me during some of my tough times. How grateful I was to be your neighbor. When Bob & I married, we laughed, we played, we swapped stories and life's day to day events. Bob & I treasure those times.
