On behalf of the 1988 B-team boys basketball team , the team Coach Kease only coached. Thanks for everything. You changed Columbia High Boys basketball program and it started with your group of 9th graders. We excel though hard work and determination trying to fulfill the hope you had in us. That same 1988 team started their senior year ranked #1 in the state and it started with you, Coach Kease. Thanks for the talks, the rides home, and your belief in us.

Everyone has a Coach Kearse story and they were all positive. Great man, great coach and great mentor. Coach Kearse will truly be missed by all that entered and exited Columbia High School. You will be missed. CHS '97
