My heartfelt sympathies go to Larry's entire family. I knew Larry at UC Davis and was heartbroken when I learned what happened. Several of us who knew him at UCD have spoken lately about the great memories we have of Larry - upbeat, friendly, always had a smile, and always fun to be around - good feelings from a good man. I went to Junior High and High School with Larry and always regarded him as a friend and all around nice guy. I remember his sweet, innocent smile that made him so genuine. I am very sad of his sudden passing and your loss. He truely was an accomplished man and hero.

My the lord hold you all close to his heart during this tragedy. I met Officer Lasater one time and the first thing I said was "what a nice man", Larry was a good man and a very respected officer.
