Larry Keith McCall, 72, of Wichita Falls, passed away from his life on Thursday, September 26, 2019, after battling a lengthy illness from Agent Orange.
Mr. McCall was born on December 11, 1946 in McAlester, Oklahoma to the late Devota (Cecil) McCall and Harold Keith McCall. He is survived by his wife, Kim; and his son, Brandon Keith McCall and wife Anna of Burkburnett. His life was blessed with three grandchildren, Summer, Taylor, and Hunter. He is also survived by his brother, Scott McCall of McAlester, Oklahoma; his sisters, Cheryl Wood of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Tonya Hill and husband Dr. Riley Hill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Larry served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1964 until 1967. He was very patriotic and loved that he was privileged to serve his country. A flag flying in his yard was always a must. He was an avid Fox News watcher and only Fox News, and was a proud supporter of his president, Donald Trump.
Larry was employed at Ameron as a maintenance mechanic, retiring after 32 years. His dream was to live in the country and have his own farm land with cattle. A dream he accomplished. Larry was a man of few words and content with home life.
A special thanks to Dr. Michael Toulan of Texoma Urology and Hospice of Wichita Falls nursing staff for all their love and care of Larry during his time of illness. The family is also appreciative to Belinda Wood of Encompass Home Health for her knowledge and care of Larry when he was at home.
The family will receive friends between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett with Pastor Randal Burnam, officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
