Larry Darnell "Hammer" McCants – a native of Mobile, AL., born on January 1, 1969 went from labor to reward on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at a local hospital. He was a member of the Church of God Pentecostal and a graduate of Cedar Grove Academy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda J. McCants; one brother, Walter C. McCants, Jr., one niece, Deondra S. Smith. He is survived by his father, Walter C. McCants, Sr; one daughter, Alexis M. Little; one devoted sister, Sheronda L. Smith, three brothers, David L. McCants, Tarrick J. McCants and Marques L. McCants; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. One devoted friend, LaCherie Little. The visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at The Church og God That Jesus Built, 1631 Wolf Ridge Rd. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Whistler, AL. The family would like to thank Mobile Infirmary Medical Staff for the wonderful and loving care provided for him. Arrangements are entrusted to the careful direction of REESE FUNERAL HOME 925. S. Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL.
