Larry Wayne McCoy

MCCOY, LARRY WAYNE, age 67, passed away on July 23, 2004. Mr. McCoy was born on September 22, 1936 in Webster, Iowa. He graduated from Monrovia High School in California in 1954. Mr. McCoy moved to South Florida in July, 1971. At that time he founded ABC Cutting Contractors, Inc., of which he was president and owner. In the ensuing years, operations were expanded into Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis,IN, Jacksonville, FL Birmingham, AL and Baltimore, MD. Mr. McCoy was a supporter of Habitat For Humanity, Boys and Girls Clubs and Valley Forge Military Academy. He had a heart for mentoring others with the desire to start concrete cutting companies. Mr. McCoy enjoyed restoring and showing classic automobiles and had a passion for Formula I Racing. He cherished time together with family and friends at their retreat along the Colorado River in Arizona. Larry McCoy's family members include his loving wife of 24 years, Faith McCoy; parents, Bernice and Bryce Numsen of Santa Barbara, CA; sister, Judy (Art) Hockey; sons: Terry McCoy of Fullerton, CA; Mark (Laurie) Neesvig of Madison, WI; Mike McCoy (deceased); daughter, Julie McCoy Pacheco of Boynton Beach, FL; and grandchildren: Nathan and Karissa Neesvig of Madison, WI; Hope, Meriah and Eddie Pacheco of Boynton Beach, FL. The family will receive relatives and friends 4 to 6 P.M., Wednesday, July 28 at Howard Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway #1, North Palm Beach where the funeral service will be held at 6 P.M. Wednesday with Reverend John Johnson, Pastor of Son Life Lutheran Church, officiating.
