Not sure what to say?

I knew Larry from 6th grade. There is one thing I will never forget about Larry - that hearty 'cackle' of a laugh. I heard it many times, even when he wasnt next to me. Either on the other side of the gym, lunch room, or baseball field, I could his loud laugh far away as he joked around with buddies. At the 20th reunion, Larry was one of the very first people to reach out and shake my hand. I will greatly miss his jovial spirit and convey great sympathy to his wife and family.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the McKellar family. I remember Larry as a great guy and as a remarkable athlete. He will surley be missed. My Kind Regards

I often remember Larry charging across Princeton Highschool's football field, jumping over surprised and outmatched blockers, with a confident smile and tremendous energy. My sincere condolences to the McKellar family.
Respectfully,

To the McKellar family, please accept my sincere sympathy. I played on the PHS football team with Larry and he was by far the most talented in our class, likely among the most gifted to ever attend Princeton High. To this day, I remember and re-tell his feats, not only those from the games, but ones from practice sessions as well. At the class reunion in 2002, he was warm and outgoing and I think, gratified to be reminded of those experiences.

My condolences to the entire McKellar Family for your loss. I had the opportunity to play football with Larry for 4 years in high school. He was a remarkable athlete. As a defensive end, he intimidated opponents. Yet, off the field, he was so friendly and outgoing. When I met him again at our 20th reunion, he still displayed that positive energy and great spirit that we all saw in high school. May he rest in peace.
