Not sure what to say?

Kim,
The world is certainly a better place as a result of Larry's walk upon it. In his case more aptly his wade, crawl, swim and paddle upon it. Indispensable in bringing the world to both sea turtles and Kim. Heady stuff.

Kim, I am truly saddened to hear of the recent passing of your father. He was such a gracious gentleman. I am honored that I got to know both your mother and father. I am so sorry for your loss.

Kim. Sorry to hear about Larry, a great gentleman and sea turtle conservationist. Wherever he is now will be graced by humor and compassion for the natural world. I have a book review coming out on "Turning Turtles in Tortuguero." I'll forward a copy to you when available. We'll miss him.

Kim, it was quite pleasing to read about your father and his history. Clearly he passed his rare character on through you. I'm touched by knowing that good and kindness is handed down and passed on by genetics. Others are strengthened by your qualities. George Neugent, Fabulous Florida Keys

Kim, The loss of your Dad is great, but remember you were the sparkle in his eye. I had the pleasure of knowing your Mom before your Dad as she was my PE teacher when I was in junior high. Later I enjoyed the co-worker/friend relationship with your Dad at NMFS. He was a great person. He inspired my love for the sea turtles. He will be missed greatly.

On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), I offer our sincere condolences on Larry's passing. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. We are forever grateful for Larry's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you...

Now on...

Kim,
It was apparent that you were a Daddy's Girl. I know you will miss him. May the wonderful memories of your time with him help fill the void in your heart.
It has been interesting reading about his many accomplishments and adventures. I enjoyed our visit with you two at St. Andrews State Park last year.
God Bless!

To my friend of over 60 years: Fair winds and following seas. Charlie Fuss
