Not sure what to say?

Larry you will be remembered for being a model member of your community by all that knew you.
As an outstanding engineer we know that we have lost one of our best, having mentored many engineers in our local region.
My condolences to the Parkes family for their loss.

Sad to hear the passing of Larry. Well respected person and leader in engineering at Bluescope and among the electrical engineering fraternity.

My Condolences to all the family.

Sorry to hear of the passing oy Larry - he was a great mentor to me during my time at Lysaghts and even came to help me at 3am when I was at my wits end.

That was Larry always there to help

Rest in Peace my Friend, you have been an inspiration to many

Larry,

You offered my first job in Australia almost thirty years ago, and supported us in every way to settle in this beautiful Country and to make it our home.

I spent many good years in BHP Engineering and in Blue Scope Steel under your stewardship and learned a lot not only in electrical engineering but in every aspects of life.

My family and I will always remember you.

Larry was a great supporter of Training at AIS/BHP/BlueScope Steel. He was the 'Father' figure for myself and the Training team and many thousands of Apprentices owe their livelihood to Larry.

Larry was also a driving force around electrical safety, leading the Electrical Safety Committee for many years. His passion in this area meant that electrical workers in hundreds of workplaces around Australia and New Zealand could go home to their families at the end of the day without injury...

Larry you will be sadly missed, a great mind and a great person to all at the IESN
