Larry Pearson

Larry Pearson, Blue Springs, MO, son of Lester and Goldie (Stayner) Pearson, was born on April 7, 1933, in Adel, IA and departed this life on February 25, 2023, at the age of 89.

Larry lived in Kimberling City, MO before moving to Blue Springs, MO. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kimberling City, MO.

Larry graduated from Adel High School in Adel, Iowa. While living in Adel, Larry and his brother, Lester, owned a restaurant, The Park View Drive-Inn (La Parque Vista Lounge). The restaurant was a popular hangout in Adel, especially after sporting events.

After moving to Kimberling City, he started out working construction. Later, Larry and his wife, Frankie, started and owned Frankie’s BBQ in Lampe, MO.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Goldie Pearson; wife, Frankie Pearson; daughter, Susan Moschner and brother, Lester Pearson, Jr.

Survivors include: son, Rex Pearson; stepson, Michael Jones; daughters, Linda Fornicola, Pam Hsu and Marci Haro; stepdaughters, Deanna Smith and Cheryl Bohannan; ten grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Jeff Hardy officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
