Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ross and family,
Whenever I think of Mr. Ross, it brings a smile to my face. I always thought he was a good guy and enjoyed being around him. I'll never forget joking around with him and his good sense of humor. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Linda,
I remember Larry as a good friend, husband, father, teacher and a true patriot. He enjoyed life and I enjoyed being around him. He will be missed and never forgotten.

It is sad when you loose a friend like Larry. I always remember his quick wit and sense of humor. We often enjoyed telling war stories especially our times on an aircraft carrier. Larry was a hero. He helped others from a magnesium flair fire that burned all of the junior officer's quarters in the forward section of the USS Oriskany. He had to crawl from side to side of the ship to evade the fire. Many sailors lost their lives that day including a roomate of mine from OCS. Thanks for the...

We wish to add our condolences to Linda and her family on the loss of a husband and father. We were pleased to know Larry and Linda if only seeing them on special occasions such as dinner at Patty's, the Bush's 50th wedding anniversary celebration, lunch at Neeltje's, etc. Linda, we are thinking about you and praying for you to be strong.

My condolences to the Ross family. I have probably only known Larry for 10 years or so, but I honestly looked forward to out journeys to Peoria, AZ and Spring Training with the Padres. It was something to look forward to each and every year. And, how can we ever forget the snacks that always were provided by you as we watched baseball in Arizona. I know that those people whose lives you touched will miss you greatly. I know your love for your family and and friends will never be...

August 15, 2007 nothing will replace the fun we had river rafting, fishing, Peoria and most of all your friendship. You taught me how to play cribbage. You enjoyed being organized and planning all our trips, I enjoyed going along and knowing exactly what we were going to eat, what time we were eating and who was going to prepare the food. We shared our lives and our blessings. Your passion for the Midway tours that you gave was obvious. Your dedication to your students and staff of National...

My condolences to the family of Larry. Larry was a fraternity brother at Phi Kappa Tau at Oregon State University. He was house president when I was initiated in the Fall of 1962. He tried to help me develop some good study habits--maybe that is why I made it through college. We lost touch until 4 or 5 years ago, when I received his e-mail address. We mostly exchanged e-mail jokes, etc, but once in awhile we actually chatted. Same old Larry!! I am sad to see him go.

Our family will miss you so very much. You have been such a wonderful part of all our celebrations for the past 40 years. You were always smiling and enjoying all the happenings, yet never judging, but supporting everyone with love and caring. You have been the pillar in the family and respected by all. We are sad and will have an empty place in our hearts and our family without your presence. You will be in our memory forever and a part of our family for always.
