Not sure what to say?

Larry and I go back to the late 1960s. We were hired at close to the same time and he was my first office partner. Ten years later, I went to BPST and he went on to become a supervisor in Washington County. When I left BPST, Larry was the reason I got hired in Washington County. Later, when we left Washington County, we were Parole Hearings Officers together, and Larry handled the paperwork and contracts, He also visited my store and even invested in comics. We had many fine times...

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of summer vacations with the Rutter family. Beach trips, Lake of the Woods, competitive easter egg hunts, hide and seek in the sand dunes, and Thanksgiving Day football games followed by late night mini leftover sandwiches. I will miss you "cousin larry"

My family and I owe so much to Larry. His generosity and understanding perpetuated our business into the success that is has been. Since we met in 1992, he's provided guidance and vision to create an exemplary family business.

I didn't 't know Larry as wel as most but I will miss the get togethers we had with Leslie Rick and Kathy. He was a very nice man and know he will be missed . Rest in peace Larry.

Larry was my mentor. I learned so much, not only about the profession, but how to be a professional, from him. I owe him so much! He was also a wonderful friend, and even though we haven't been in touch the last few years, I will always think of him as the kind of person I always wanted to be when I grew up! A true role model. I will miss him!

Bart and I were saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I was his intern for 18 months during the 70's. And later I worked with him in Washington County. I am so fortunate to call him friend. Our prayers to his family

Very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We met in the 70s when I was assigned to Portland Branch Office East as a job developer. Our orbits intersected throughout the years as I became a lawyer and judge in Washington County. Larry was great to deal with, always a professional.
Larry once introduced me to a probation officer - Sy Kornbrot, I think (unsure of the spelling) - at a parole revocation hearing in the 80s by noting "I'm surprised that two dinosaurs like you don't already know...

I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was my boss at Washington County for many years. We had so much fun with him in charge which made a challenging job a bit easier. Very disappointed when he didn't get the directors job. I was one of his first employees when he started his private business. Condolences to his family, he will be missed but not forgotten.

Rest in love Larry ❤
