I remember Larry as one of the most gentle and humble souls I have ever met. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was so caring of others. I will miss sending him a Christmas card every year and making him a pie or jam. He was a regular at Gary's birthday party BBQ every year where I would see him during the summer.
I never found out if we were related like I thought. On my moms side was Lena Rivers Shelton. I would have been proud to call him family.
