Not sure what to say?

Dr. Sherman did a lot for the Scouting movement. I miss his presence at Retreats sponsored by the Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting. May his soul dwell with the blessed. May his memory be eternal!

Larry's been gone 5 years. Hard to believe. I miss you. Memory eternal!

Memory eternal to the servant of God, Lawrence! May his soul dwell with the blessed. He was a good, Scouting friend.

I sadly just learned of Larry's passing. I had the great fortune to work with him in dental research, but more importantly to come to know him as a true friend. We shared the passion for Scouting and loved to learn about history. Both of my now grown children had the good fortune to spend time with Larry in when he worked with our Boy Scout troop when he spent his summers at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas.

I knew him while I grew up as a young girl in Factoryville. I thought he was a kind, charming, intelligent, funny man. I was so saddened to hear about Irene's loss. He will be sorely missed. Irene, you are in my heart and in my prayers.

I knew Larry from Parent and Pal weekend with the Cubscout.. We, Pack 251 from Clarks Green, miss his knowledge and presence this year..Deeply missed.. in our thoughts and prayers..

Wonderful Professor! I am smiling while writing this. Such great memories of one of the best teacher I ever had.

As a former Nazareth student, and former classmate with his brother David (class of 1954), I'm saddened to learn of Larry's passage. I recall certainly his and his Father's lifelong passion for scouting. Athletically, I recall his love for long distance running while a student at Nazareth High School.

Sincere regards to the Sherman family.
