Not sure what to say?

April 2024 is almost over. I was cleaning my closets when I stumbled across notes I'd kept from Larry Siegel - He was my boss and an idividual who believed in me. It I am saddened I will not be able to find him and thank him for kind words of support he wrote so long ago. To run across them so much later felt divine. He must have given much to others as well. I remember Kathy Butch from the Courier and I having beers with him at the Tom Tom Tap. I remember how great it felt to be with...

Larry J. Siegel wasn't a friend, he wasn't a lover and I haven't seen him since 1984 but we were connected in a way that's hard to explain. I always thought I'd see him again. I met Larry in a job interview in the eighties. He was the publisher of a small newspaper in the Midwest and I had a fresh journalism degree that needed using. We clicked. We miss Larry and a lot of other of 1957 friends, Kenny, Budosia, Willy, and too many more.

We all miss Larry and our other class of 1957 close friends, Kenny, Budosia, Willy and too many more.

Memories for sure!!!!

While your dazzling smile can no longer enchant those who are still earthbound, I know you are one of the brightest stars in the sky looking down on us who are still earthbound. It is our good memories of you that will temper our grief and feelings of loss.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Larry as an adult. I do remember the kind, handsome, gifted athlete and talented singer we were graced with in high school. Rest well amigo.

I remember Larry from my days at BHS. As I recall he would always take the time to stop and talk during breaks between classes. My most memorable event was in the US Navy when my ship the USS Manley DD-940 pulled into Norfolk Naval Base one evening from a long deployment. After we had tied up I got off to stretch my legs. I saw some bright lights in the distance and I walked toward them. There was a baseball game underway. The pitcher on the mount was throwing some smoking fast balls and...

It has been a long time since I have seen Larry, but he was always a beautiful person. My heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.
