Not sure what to say?

Larry was my boss on the sea shadow and part of his crew on the hmb-1 for many years at lockheed, we also work on the missile systems until he retired he was a great leader I learned a lot from him. rest in peace

I remember well standing next to Larry as our first time back to sea after some years of layup. The Sea Shadow operated originally for only about 16 weeks over an 18 month period; 1985-1986. In the photo as we stood next to each other, we were saying we didn't believe we had actually brought the program back from the dead. Larry was certainly one of the best managers ever. Some of my favorite memories involve Larry and Jan. Larry will be missed. All my love to Jan. Cheryl (Andrus) Ousey.

Larry and I took the same path from Navy Airforce at Moffett Field to Lockheed next door ten years apart. We did not meet however until he became Barge Master of the Hughes HMB-1 barge in Redwood City. I worked for him in the refurbishment of the barge to prepare it for the construction and transport of the Sea Shadow. He knew the barge like no-one else. He was a great boss. I am sad to hear he is gone. My sincere condolences to the family.

Larry and I worked in the small team building and initially operating Mini-OTEC in Hawaii. We just visited the big island for the first in a long time, and it was nice to be there, and visit another "old hand" from those days: Tom Daniel. Glad to have been on the group with Larry.
