Read MoreLarry and I were very close in Jr. High and High School. We played in every music group we could find and then invented a couple. He and his parents and Nancy were very kind to me. Larry and I remained friends until the day he passed. Even though we were separated by 3,000 miles we traded a lot of ideas over email. He was one of the kindest men I ever knew.

It has been a lot of years since the Blue Notes played local weddings and parties. I was the trumpet and the team had lots of fun and we made good money. Larry handled the Sax and we all thought we had hit it big. Fond memories from a much quieter time in history but not forgotten. Now over 50 years and like it happened yesterday. I pass on a fond memory for daughters and the rest of the family.
