Having just returned from a cousin's funeral in Eufaula, AL, I was so sorry to read in the PNJ of Larry's passing. He was always a strong dedicated leader of Public Works for Santa Rosa, and also very giving . After Hurricane Opal , he offered to come down to the beach to dozier and redistribute the mounds of built-up sand on our lot, even though he had recently had a heart operation. Carol and family, I was and am deeply saddened to learn of Larry's passing. You two have been such an inspiration to us all, in your love for each other, and your hard work ethic. Our memories go back to far, of course, to high school, wow. All of my memories of you both are great, especially all of the reunions we did together. I am so very sorry that I wasn't able to attend his service.. as I had a trip out of town. Much love, prayers, and hugs to you.
