Not sure what to say?

Corbitt and I first met Larry when we started working at Home Depot together. We have such fond memories of him. We were so shocked to hear the news today when we went to visit him at the store. He was such an encouraging person and truly a friend. We will miss him a great deal and keep his family and friends in our prayers.

We all said we wished you could have been with us Monday. We had the best inventory since I've been in Tuscaloosa. Sunday we will hand out Success Sharing checks to all our associates. Both of these things were what you had worked so hard for to accomplish at our Tuscaloosa store. Thank you Larry. You paved the way for this to happen. I hope that somehow you will be able to look down on us Sunday as we celebrate our store's success. Just want be the same without you though.

Larry was "The Man" at 877 when he had his apron on.

I wanted to share this picture with everyone. We still miss Larry a lot at store 877.

I first met Larry when Roxanne met him. Roxanne is like a daughter to me and she told me about meeting him and I told her I would love to meet him and see if I approved. haha! I knew the minute I met Larry what a gentlman he was. He looked me straight in the eyes when he spoke and had a firm handshake, my husband and I knew Roxanne had found someone special.
His gentleness and kindness were so heartfelt and sincere. His interaction with the children and the way he looked at Roxanne his...

I was Larry's HR manager at the Tuscaloosa Home Depot. We spent a great deal of time together going over various issues of the business and also just talking about family and personal things. I felt like I got to know Larry very well. He spoke often of his family and his concern for their well being. Larry had a tough exterior, but a heart as big as the outdoors. His management style was aggressive but his main goal was to make each associate a success. He was so proud when we had two dept....

I first met Larry when we worked together at the Hoover Home Depot. From day one, Larry was the best sparring partner I ever had. I am thankful for having known him. In the last few months, Larry taught me so much. I miss him daily. To my boys Josh and Jonathon, hang in there and be the men he taught you to be. To Jennifer, he loved his little girl so much. To RoxAnne and the girls, my prayers are with you. Larry, I'll always miss you.

I would like to apologize for the mistake in the obituary of my son Larry Dean Stephens. He was survived by his father,William Allen Stephens and sister Thris Stephens, of California. I truly offer my apology for this. Larry's mother

I am Larry's cousin from Oregon. Even though we hadn't seen each other in years I have a lot of great memories from when we were kids. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I know he will be greatly missed.
