Not sure what to say?

Sandy and I met Larry at this last 8th Cav Reunion (which was our first reunion.) We had dinner with him and enjoyed lots of story telling. He, we could tell, was a character and made us feel welcome at this great event. He was with his combat brothers when he passed and now with many that went before him. We are very sorry for your loss...we know he will be missed by many.
Al and Sandy Rackley

Barbara and I want to extend our deepest condolences.
We were fellow Sky Troopers who served together in Viet Nam. We met again for the first time last year in Minneapolis. He was fascinating and funny and I so enjoyed him after so many years. I loved his stories of antelope hunting and his motorcycles. We are so glad we had the chance to be with him again this year at Fort Benning. Larry was not a dull guy. He is a great American and our reunions will not be the same without him.

My deepest condolences.
He died with his combat brothers where we were all having a really great time until, most regrettably . . . he will also be much missed by us.
Phil Leekley D 2/8 Cav.

Ian,

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult it must be. Sadly it does not look as though I will be able to make it to the visitation tonight but Steve recommended the guest book here as an alternative. I appreciate your father's service to our country. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.

A friend and fellow trooper. You helped me take that first trip to Minneapolis, for that I will be always grateful. We shared the same pains; You were a true friend, of which I had very few. Because of your help I will become closer to the other troopers we've met.

Dear father of my children. Grandfather (papa Larry). He loved his boys more than his own life. He will be missed.
