Not sure what to say?

Troy and family, I will always remember the great times we had fishing in Canada with You,Zach and Larry! Your dad seemed to always have a smile and a story to tell! I am sure he is being missed dearly by all of you daily. Becky and I are so sorry for this great lose your experiencing. What we can cling to now is the promise of seeing him again in heaven if we live for and believe in the Lord. Life is short at best make the most of it!! With love Jim and Becky Tibbe

I’m going to miss Lar. Even though we only saw each other 4 or 5 times a year since they moved permanently up to the lake, he was one of my closest friends growing up. We were together from kindergarten at West Side Christian to graduating from Unity Christian High School. We did everything together, cruising the “circuit” downtown, bringing my car to the drags in Martin, tobogganing at Johnson Park to name a few. My Best Man when Jan and I got married. Those are memories of Larry that I...

Beautiful tribute to a great guy! Pat, I am so sorry for your loss and the very difficult times you are experiencing. Troy, Kim, and families, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the memories of your dad and grandpa carry you through these difficult times.

Will miss my baby brother a lot. My thoughts and Prayers are with you Pat, Troy, Laura, Zech, Kim, James, Morgan and Payton. Love you all, Uncle Ron and Aunt Murt

Rest in peace, Lar.

I am so sorry to hear about Larry. We would always drive by on our pontoon and Bill and him would joke about saving gas because he was just sitting there. He always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcomed. He will definitely be missed. I am so sorry Pat for this journey you are on right now but I will pray for you at this time of sorrow.

Larry was an amazing man. He and Pat always welcomed us at their home. We will miss you Larry. Pat, Kim, Troy our thoughts are with you.

My family and I were so saddened to hear. I speak often of the family that always invited in friends, even though it always resulted in a packed cabin and everyone sleeping on the floor. I speak often of the maniacal tube puller. As a result of learning the art from the master, very few of my kids friends are repeat customers. I speak often of the family who, unselfishly, invited me white water rafting on their 25th wedding anniversary. A great man and patriarch of a great family. Pat,...

So saddened to hear this tragic news. Larry was a great friend for our family at the lake and we will all miss him. He always made us feel welcomed and loved. Pat and family - we loved Larry and extend our sincere condolences. Ben and Sandy Dekker.
