Larry Joe Thies

I would like to give my sincere condolences to the family. I have known Larry for many years. He will be remembered as the guy who loved his family, classic cars, and his time spent collecting parts no one else could find. I have many great memories of time spent with Larry and his family over years. I hope that during this difficult time many will recall his smile, laughter, and big heart.

Larry and I worked together at Ben and Dicks transmission Service in 1966(omitted from the obituary that he worked there). He taught me a lot during that time, and was loaned tools by another fellow. I thought very highly of him, and enjoyed running into him at swap meets, and anywhere else for that matter. Rest in peace in Hot rod Heaven.

Sincerest condolences and loving thoughts to the family. My prayers are with you as you grieve and celebrate Larry. I first met Larry on card nights, but I mostly ran into him at Fareway. He certainly will be missed.
