Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Coach Larry´s passing. I live in St. Louis, having played for Larry at Washington University, from 1961-1963, both ways as an end. Larry was my favorite coach even though I dropped a pass almost in front of him. He was so mad I thought he was going to run onto the field and work me over. Over the years I stayed in contact with Coach Larry following his career and telling him of mine. I had no idea Larry was in the AA program until I told him I joined a little late at age 67....

Condolences to the entire VanDusen Family. Coach was one of the greats of Coach Packard's staff and the BW family. Leader of men... God Bless.

What a beautiful man and powerful example of how to live the good life and share it with others. He was my oldest son's coach in 1978 when BW won the Division 3 national championship. We were both newly sober and in order to protect our membership we communicated with smiles and winks rather than familiarity. What joy in early sobriety! What joy in growing old while being useful in the process. Always love you, Larry.

My condolences to Larrys family. He was a great man and a role model for.. The rooms will be slightly quieter in his absence. RIH Larry! I'll be taking 12 steps away.

God is so good, he gave us a wonderful child of his. Our prayers and love go out to the family
