Larry lived a few houses from me on Rexford Ave. and was one of my brother, Booker's, best friends. He had a ready smile and a wonderful disposition. Known and loved by many. Larry you will be missed.

I too grew up on Rexford Avenue. Like so many others have said, Larry was an integral part of the neighborhood; thus, he also was one of the people who helped to make Rexford such a fun place to grow up. I pray that memories of him will bring his family some comfort.

Larry, I will always remember your smile, laugh and presence. Rest in peace, my friend.

Larry was the first child that I met when I first moved to the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. When my world was only Union Avenue and two blocks to Charles Dickens Elementary School Larry gave me my first geography lesson and he also gave me a tour of Rexford, Farringdon, and Craven Avenues. It is true that the families on Rexford had a community that children coming from neighboring streets
were welcomed and nobody was afraid of letting their children go there to play. Thank you Larry for...

I am deeply saddened by Larry's passing. Larry always greeted you with a smile and ethusiasm that made you glad to see him. He will be deeply missed. My heart felt condolences to the family. My prayers are with you during these difficult times.

Larry I will miss you and your crazy laugh. Rest now. Just rest.
