Earline,

I am so sorry about Larry's passing. Larry was a kind and honest businessman, a skilled photographer, and a friend. I am so glad that I visited him a few weeks ago and I did not know that the end was so near. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

Jim and Anne Sims

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Waldrup's passing. He was always our "photo man" for as long as I can remember. From Jones Valley-HHS. He was great with the kids! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I have lost a wonderful friend. I was especially delighted and pleased that the Principals of the three Madison County School systems asked to be his Pallbearers. This, in itself, speaks of the respect for the honesty and integrity of Larry Waldrup from customers who knew of his workmanship. We have lost a great and wondeful man. Our condolencies to his widow and family where love abounds.

Our sympathy to your entire family. Our prayers are with you all.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I attended Chapman elementary & middle, as well as Lee (I'm 57). I remember him well. He was Always the photographer (I was always the photographer for the yearbooks and newspapers).
He seemed like a very nice man, and my condolences (As you can tell: I will never forget him!).

My Heart goes out to Larry's Family. The first time I met Larry, His Photography company was in charge of the HCS Systems Photo's for the Year.. One year I was not pleased with the Photo's and I contacted him by phone and told him I would like to have the Pictures retaken. His sweet personality shined through.. He invited me to Bring my Children to the Studio and he took Lots of Pictures and he didn't charge for the Photo's. He told me that if he put his name on something, It meant...

Larry will always be remembered as our special Huntsville High Yearbook Photographer. He was fun to be with the momentwhen he entered HHS. He would head straight to Joe Anglin's office to exchange stories and laugh sometime before going to work. We all loved him.
