Larry & I were in the same Company/Unit in Vietnam, only He was there before me. We met in DC.on Veterans Day several years ago and as often as He came to our MRFA Reunions. Those of us who knew him were sadden by his passing this past Labor Day Week End in Indy. Our Prayers and Love go out to him and his family.

Larry was such a caring and loving man. I knew him through our Danish Lodge connection. I miss him so much. He was a hero during his life--his time in the service for our country--and a hero as he faced leaving this world. Larry and I talked before his death and he was looking forward to, and hopeful for, heaven. I am sending much love to Larry's family. Larry was a wonderful man who loved his family very much; he will be missed by many people.--Love Charlene Jensen

I have a feeling Larry was a gift to everyone he met, and he met many people from many walks of life. Knowing him in the last 25 years, it is hard to imagine him as the warrior he was in Vietnam, even so I can only picture him as the Mr. Rogers figure in that setting. Portland's Danish culture was enriched by his fellowship.
With sincere sympathy to Carol and all Larry's loved ones.

So sorry to see Larry leave far too soon. He was a strong backbone of family history that will be sadly missed. All my best to all the family far and near. I wish I had been able to attend.

I am so grateful to have known Larry. Every time we visited Morgann and Erik he went out of his way to recommend places to visit or take us on a guided tour. I always enjoyed his company and wisdom. He will be missed.
