Steve was my favorite professor at EIU in the late 1970s and our Beta Beta Beta advisor. He was also a Phi Sig with my dad in the 50s. I fondly remember being the only female Zoology major in his Human Physiology class when we were learning to conduct and read EKGs on eachother. Everyone volunteered to be my partner, so they could attach my chest leads. Steve came to my rescue and saved me the embarrassment! He was very sweet! Such a wonderful teacher!
