Not sure what to say?

Larry was perhaps the mist interesting man to whom I talked often. We. Always seemed to challenge and spur each other in all situations. My only regret is that we lost touch over the years. I guess what I appreciated most about Larry was his drive, passion and quest for excellence in every thing he tackled. I know he will be missed by Margie and his family immensely.

Marg, Jenel, and Erika,
So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We have fond memories of our fun times together during the "gym" years. Hope you find some peace in knowing so many people are thinking of you. God bless you.

My sincere condolences to the Wildermuth Family,
There has never been a time in my life when I thought or referred to Larry as anything other than Coach. My attentions and devotions to family and life have made years pass quickly, and distance has grown between many of my mentors from youth. Never once, not for a day, have the lessons from Coach Wildermuth slipped my mind. I did not realize it when I was young, but Coach has been with me, pushing me to do better in college and school....

As you know Larry was a great man too many people. To me he was like a father, he was always there for me no matter what. I remember I was having trouble in his Russian history class and he would pick me up at home, take me to the Albright library and teach me how to study and I still study to this day like that. He taught me how to be a man, always be proud of myself, always look someone in the eyes when you talk to them, shake someones hand with a firm...

Mr. Wildermuth was one of the first teachers to truly challenge me to think, he was a cherished mentor that pushed me to imagine a world beyond the confines of our sleepy rural town. I wouldn't be the person am today without him.

To the Wildermuth Family, Our condolences to you. Larry and Marge have helped me throughout in ways they will never know. My hope is to return at least half of that to us all. You will not be forgotten!

Peace & Love

T & D

Marge, Jenel, and Erika,

Larry was a dynamic and intelligent individual who helped shape me as a person, teacher and coach. He sparked my passion to read science fiction and fantasy novels. As I grew as an athlete, he was able to provide the mental toughness required to succeed at high levels.

Most importantly, he provided insight into the teaching world that was unmatched. He guided and mentored me to take chances in the class room and in coaching circles.

His passing...
