Not sure what to say?

Larry touched my life with his kindness, unselfishness, and humility. These contagious character traits continue to touch my life five years after his passing, and I am challenged to do better in touching others in similar ways. I remember his voice and smile.

We are so blessed to have known Larry for the last 40 years. We met Larry when he ,Carolyn and Treasure became members of Christian Fellowship Church. As his pastor for many years, it was such a blessing to see him and his family grow in their love and commitment to the Lord.
Larry was always ready to serve the Lord whenever and however he could.
He also loved to laugh, have fun,and was willing to participate in all of the church fellowships even if it meant wearing a funny...

Everyone’s wonderful comments about Larry mean more to me than you can imagine. He moved to Heaven 9 months ago, and the void will be here until we are together again. He did exactly what he wanted to do: finish strong, finish empty. He gave his all, preaching and teaching up until two weeks before he died, with his limited voice and breath. I was blessed beyond measure to have him as our spiritual leader for 43 years. I was astounded at how many lives he touched! He definitely would...

I may have already entered a comment, but I want to say that we were all good friends. This time on earth will only be a small part of what is to come. I love yall.

My name is Matt Steed, I am from Mississippi. I meet Brother Larry at the Howard Hill bow shoot in Alabama. He would hold a Sunday morning devotion at the bow shoots. Brother Larry, was a man that loved Jesus and loved people. I just found out about his passing away. I am sad because I will miss seeing Brother Larry and talking to him, but I am happy because I know that he is in the presents of the Lord. I have never meet Brother Larry's family, but if any of you read this, please have...

Good Afternoon,

My name is Cellina Miller. I was a student of Mr. Wilhite's at Parkway Christian Academy and part of the graduating class of 2008. Mr. Wilhite was my Bible Teacher for what I believe were 3 years and he was also the teacher in charge of our Archery Club. His class and club provided me with the safe haven that I so desperately needed during my traumatic upbringing and life. His classes provided a sanctuary for my friends and I and he was always so happy to see us....

Larry was one of the nicest and most genuine men I've ever known. He always had a pleasant smile and laughed often. His unique approach to life was part of his easy going, approachable personality. Sought first the kingdom of God.

Our prayers are with all the family

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I worked with Larry in the early 2000's. He was a great boss and always a very fair person guided by his faith.
