I just learned of Larry's passing when I recently received my Miami Hurricane magazine. I was a also a member of the 1962 Canes baseball team, and I followed Larry while he played at Archbishop Curley and U of M. I played at St. Pat's. My brother, Joe, was friends with both Larry and Fran Curci, as they both played football during 1953-1956. Larry was Fran's receiving end while at Curley and U of M. My condolences to his family.

I remember Larry from Corpus Christi, Curley and at the U. He was always a great guy and tremendous athlete.
So sorry for your loss.

Larry and I grew up together as classmates at Corpus Christi and Archbishop Curley Catholic High School. We both are UM Canes graduating in 1962. His advocacy and support of the legacy of Miami football is well known and remarkable. Rest in peace Larry in God's comfort.
