Not sure what to say?

I was sad to hear of Mr. Woods passing. He is one of the teachers that had an impact on my educational path. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Woods family.

Dane Burton JHS class of 84

I had Mr.Woods my freshmen year and was by far the best teacher I had. He taught me so much about myself. He told me not to do what everyone else did, to foolow my heart, to love and not hate, to never give up as the sky was the limit. Mr. Woods will truely be missed

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Woods family. Mr. Woods was one of a few teachers at J-town that kept it real. He didn’t take any mess and he expected greatness from all of us. It’s been an honor to have been taught by you. God Bless.
Class of 1991

I never had the experience of a Mr. Woods math class, but I am one of the many students to walk the halls of Butler High School. Everday, without fail, Mr. Woods could be seen is his desk chair, rolling around in front of his class room during breaks between class. He always had a smile or a hey there, or a have a good day for any student who crossed his path.

He will be greatly missed at Butler, I am sure of this. Thoughts are with the family during their time of need.

Dearest Woods Family,I was in shock when i heard the news about larry! What a loss to his family, his congregation and his students and friends! The day will soon be here "when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his(jesus) voice and come out"(John 5:26-29).So we look forwd to seeing our brother again, real soon. I will continue to keep the family in my prayers, praying that Jehovah keeps u strong. We love you all very much .. .

Mr.Woods was without a doubt my most favorite teacher I had at Butler. He was great teacher and hilarious person. You never knew what he would say or do next. I always looked forward to his class. Rest in peace Mr. Woods..
