Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Ella V and the family of Coach Workman. He was a special person, coach, teacher, competitor, and friend. He will remain a part of the Auburndale community as those that knew him tell of the wonderful experiences you all shared.

LARRY WORKMAN WAS MORE THAN A COACH AND TEACHER, HE WAS A CARING MAN.I KEPT IN TOUCH WITH LARRY AND ELLA, AND WAS PROUD TO CALL THEM MY FRIENDS.R.I.P. LARRY, JOB WELL DONE

Mr. Workman will always be remembered as a wonderful, warm and caring man. He was not only a great man, but a wonderful teacher, coach and principal to so many of us. Our prayers go out to his beloved family.

My condolences to Larry Len, Donnie, and of course Becky. I well remember both of your parents and I know the pain of the loss.

But look at their legacy: the three of you and your children, your successes...that says wonders and is a powerful tribute to a long life!

You're in my prayers!

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Since our graduation from AHS in 1961 as his first graduates after becoming our principal, Mr. Workman was always a part of our good and funny memories. He and Ella V were also such welcome guests at our class reunions; we shall miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

What a great principal Mr. Workman was for the students of AHS. He gave me my first haircut in school, gave me the board of education a few times too. The students love him because he was always getting the best out of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this loss. May God comfort and bless you.

My condolences to the Workman family and to Larry Len, Donnie and Becky. I knew your Dad and Mom. I have memories of all the family getting together at Thanksgiving at MamaKinney's and the big dinners we all had there. I have pictures if you ever want to see them.
We will see Larry again, in a better place!
