:) In loving memory

I just read a facebook entry and learned that Laszlo had passed. I am still in shock. Bob and I have such great memories of Laszlo and you, Jan. We couldn't have asked for better friends when we were both just beginning our married lives. Bob still shares stories about our friendship and good times with Laszlo and you. We know he is in a better place, and that he will always have a place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jan.

My deepest condolences to the Stumpfhauser family and friends. Laszlo was one of the most loving, caring, and welcoming human beings I have ever met. I enjoyed hearing his life stories and will never forget riding bikes around Benton with him. He lived an amazing life and touched the hearts of many.

Jan, Eva and Kirk,

I'm deeply saddened to hear the news of Laszlo passing - My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Heaven has received the most giving, and caring man I have ever known. Laszlo, was my Mentor and GREAT friend. Your entire family was my Wichita family for 4 years when I came down from Wisconsin to do an internship and then work under Laszlo at Health Strategies - those 4 years were full of AWESOME memories!! I would not be where I am today without him guiding...

Tim Chavez Feb2014

Jan, Eva, and Kirk, I remember your family as one of the most beautiful and loving families I have ever met. Lazlo and I were easy and casual friends back when we met. And I remember him very fondly as an encouraging physiology mentor, as a respected role model, and also as a patient father figure. Mary Kay and I felt adopted by all of our Newman Center Marriage Encounter couples, and my best memories of Lazlo are at the house. His favorite palce was among his beloved family. And we knew why...

We were so sorry to hear of your loss and our heart, thoughts and prayers are with you.

The Robert and Stan Floyd

To Jan, Eva, Kirk and the rest of the extended Stumpfhauser family "Isten áldja meg a család." Laszlo was one of my favorite people. You remember few people well as you progress through life. He was one of the few. I always regretted that I wasn't a better goalie for him. His coaching did finally stick, it just took me about 20 years to recognize it. I am glad I got the chance to thank him, to let him know his impact.

We are very sorry to hear about Laszlo's passing. Even though we didn't get the opportunity to know him well, we really enjoyed meeting all of you and could see the extreme love and devotion he had for his family as well as you towards him. What a remarkable, loving family! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
