Not sure what to say?

I've only recently learned of Mr. Walker's passing. He was a truly great man, an unassuming leader, a person of great character. As a student, I knew him through many of my years growing up, and have thought of him often in the decades since, as an example of what a leader should be. His passing is a great loss to his family, the community, and our country, and although I live far away from Monahans, I'll miss him greatly, in knowing he's not here with us anymore. May God bless and...

Mr. Lathan Walker was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our hearts are saddened by his passing. May God give strength to his family he left behind.

he was such a kind man, his very presence just made you feel warm and wonderful. His wife reflected the same generous spirit and it was a pleasure to know him. I never met Dana, he was a dentist by the time I got to high school, but Jan was just darling. My thought to all of you. The kind of man every woman wants to have and the family we all wish we were. He embodies the best a person can be.

I remember Mr. Walker with wonderful memories. Ms. Jo was my FAVORITE high school teacher. Because of her influence in my life, I was successful in the business world. She taught me much. Mr. Walker was someone I admired greatly, his life was a lesson to us all. I am sorry for the loss to your family, but Heaven is blessed by his presence. My prayers are with you. Such a kind man, truly a Christian gentleman who lived a Christian life. I knew him when I worked for Dana. Praying for you all in the days ahead.

Mr. Walker was a principal at 3 of the 4 schools I attended in Monahans. He was an outstanding and caring professiona. May God be with you during this time.
