Read MoreBetty taught me to swim at the Yazoo City public pool on Jackson Avenue when I was 6 years old. Everytime I go swimming, I think of Betty Lightcap. She was a wonderful person and had so much patience teaching me to swim. I'm sure she taught many others how to swim and was an influence in their lives as well. My prayers go out to her family.
