Laura Irene Coss

Laura and Bob Coss were my neighbours, when I grew up on Virginia Rd. I remember being so excited to see Laura when I was selling girl scout cookies. She always bought more than anyone else! She was always a good neighbor to my parents, and ready to help anyone on the block who needed help. I remember many times spent at her house playing Candyland with Lee Allen and Teresa. I found out she had passed to late to attend the funeral. My condolences to Bob and the family.

I first met Laura at Andover Methodist Church in the 1960's when we were a part of a young married's Sunday School Class. I was always impressed by the way she took such good care of Bob with his diabetes and post polio and how tidy she kept her house. She always had a welcoming smile and I had great fun shocking people with a joke she told: She had a sweater for 15 years and she hadn't washed it once. (She always sent it to the dry cleaner.)
