I was a sorority sister of Laura,same class, at SMU. We had been in touch with each other since she and Bob visited Houston some years ago, when my sister Wonnie and I met her for lunch. It was so nice getting re-acquainted, as I had such fond memories of her in school. Beautiful and smart, and well-traveled for a girl our age, Laura always seemed so much more sophisticated than the rest of us! I'll never forget a lovely lunch with her and her father at Rockefeller Plaza on my first trip...

We had the pleasure of knowing Laura for 25 years. She was a lovely lady and the most gracious hostess. Visiting her and Bob and being a guest in their home was always a delightful and memorable experience, as Laura always made us feel like family.
